While Chris Paul has just begun his route to an NBA title with the Clippers in an updated version of his regular season sneaker, Jordan Brand already has CP3 geared up for next season with a new signature sneaker; the Jordan CP3.VII
Since there is no official info on the CP3.VI yet, the extent of knowledge about this sneaker is limited. Just judging by what is shown here, Podulon cushioning in the heel returns with Dynamic Flywire cables make their debut. On the toebox you can see that each of the different colorways have different materials in the front; something not really seen with Chris Paul’s sneakers as much as the ones for other Jordan Brand frontmen like Carmelo Anthony.
Along with the two black & red pairs, there is a very South Beach-inspired colorway seen as well; something of a staple for basketball sneakers of any brand ever since the LeBron VIII with the same colorway dropped in 2010.
Currently, Chris Paul is wearing the Artisan Edition of his CP3.VI sneaker with the Los Angeles Clippers during this NBA Playoff series but keep an eye out just in case he decides to break these out months before this sneaker’s Fall 2013 release during the post season.
