There are some players in NBA history that you just can’t help but associate with a franchise. Usually they are the franchises star players for a long period of time. So when they get moved or sign with another team, it looks down right strange when they don another team’s uniform. It’s confusing to the eyes and mind. Think Patrick Ewing Sonics, or Michael Jordan Wizards, or Allen Iverson at first with the Nuggets. Derek Fisher was by no means the franchise guy with the Lakers but he was a huge piece to multiple championship teams, so it feels just as weird seeing him wearing the OKC uniform last night….
