So far, not so good for Allen Iverson in a Detroit Pistons uniform. The team isn’t winning, Iverson has been fined for missing practice, his jumper hasn’t been falling, and as recently as tonight he’s struggling to even hit open lay-ups. Could it just be trouble adjusting to his new team? Or maybe Iverson is trying too hard to fit in with his new team?
Listen to the Iverson portion of the post-game press conference today after being beat handily by the Portland Trailblazers. Allen tries to make some sense out of the disarray that is his offensive game right now. Probably for the first time in his career Iverson is having trouble putting the ball in the hoop. There is no doubt that this slump won’t last forever with Iverson, but Dumars and the Pistons have got to be worried about how long it will last….
