Kobe Bryant changed the way Nike Basketball traditionally rolls out their signature sneakers by starting last NBA season in the Kobe IX Elite. That trend continued this year as well and we are being treated to more colorways of the Kobe’s latest Elite series sneaker.
The Nike Kobe X Elite ‘American’ nickname is hammered home thanks to a military-style patch on the tongue and features a patriotic red-and-blue colorway. A reflective material is used on both Swoosh logos on each sneaker.
While this colorway of the Kobe X Elite is made with red Flyknit construction, the medial (inner) parts of both sneakers features a navy, sewn panel.
The ‘American’ Nike Kobe X Elite releases on Tuesday, November 24th for $225.
