Inspired by Akron, Ohio’s history in the rubber-making industry is the black ‘Rubber City’ Nike LeBron 12 EXT.
LeBron James isn’t the only noteworthy thing to come out of Akron, Ohio. The city is widely known for factories which many of them make rubber goods (mainly tires) and then ship them around the world.
A big difference between the EXT version of the Nike LeBron 12 as opposed to the regular is that the EXT is constructed more for casual wear than performance with the translucent blue outsole, chrome Swoosh branding, and upper materials that are more plush than strong.
