It seems like injuries continue to love Brooklyn Nets center, Brook Lopez as he has been diagnosed with a mild right foot sprain and will be out approximately 10-14 days, according to league sources.
He suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Net’s preseason match versus the Sacramento Kings, and went straight to the locker room for diagnosis and treatment. It’s a good thing that this is just a minor injury as
Lopez has really been unable to stay on the court consistently due to these kinds of problems.
From Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports:
The Nets say center Brook Lopez has a mild right midfoot sprain with no fractures or bone injuries. He is expected to be out 10-14 days.

So far, the 26-year-old center averages 18.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists throughout his six years in the league.
And now with the season just a few days away, the Nets will hope to have their starting center back on opening night, but if not we’ll probably be seeing someone else to fill in the void till he gets back.
