Victor Oladipo changed the narrative on his career this season from mild disappointment as a former No.2 pick and overpaid player to likely All-NBA player and one of the more exciting young players in the NBA.
After a 2017-18 regular season in which he averaged 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists on 47% shooting from the field and 37% from the three point line and a great 1st round playoff performance he will likely earn himself the Most Improved Player of the Year award.
He averaged 22.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists in seven games, shooting 40.4% from three and looking completely unguardable for stretches of the series.
After getting a taste of that postseason success and superstardom, Oladipo is hungry for more as evident by his first reaction after an exhausting season and playoff series.

It is hard to imagine Oladipo being much better, but he clearly made a commitment to change his body this summer and make himself into the go-to guy for a franchise that was the biggest surprise in the NBA this season as a 48 win team.
Flush with some cap space and a nice young trio of Oladipo, Turner (who had a slightly disappointing season) and Domantas Sabonis, he could be a player in the eastern conference for the foreseeable future.
