Minor league baseball teams are known for creative promotions and uniforms in order to draw attendance and attention.
The G-League’s Delaware 87ers, the affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, has gotten into the fun this week by unveiling their SpongeBob Squarepants uniforms, based on the highly popular Nickelodeon show.

This is a little harsh, but when Emeka Okafor was the No. 2 pick of the 2004 NBA Draft by the then Charlotte Bobcats, I am sure he never anticipated wearing a SpongeBob Squarepants themed uniform in the minor leagues 14 years later.
