Kevin Durant has had a very eventful and emotional past few months. He lost a 3-1 lead in the western conference finals including a meltdown in Game 6 and then decided to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder to join a 73 win team and create a super team the likes of which we have never seen.
He has gone from the most adored person in the state of Oklahoma and someone generally liked and respected across the country to a villain under a microscope of intense pressure and scrutiny.
As he prepared for another day of Team USA basketball training camp he decided to add some more ink to his collection. He decided to add a mural of a rapper known for his venomous rapping style. One known for being the bad guy and for his love of the west coast. Of course I’m talking about Tupac.

The tattoo is pretty massive considering he is a 6’11” man and it covers his entire lower leg. Durant seems to be embracing the villain role that has been placed upon him and could quite possibly be acknowledging to the world that all eyes are in fact on him.
Durant also reportedly got another tattoo to acknowledge his new found BFF according to fellow Hoop Doctors writer Dan Favale…

It’s also humorous that Durant has noted that he is a huge Tupac fan for his rap ability and his mind but thinks Biggie is the best.
Kind of like how he decided to join the Warriors because he admires the way they play even though he may have been on the better team in Oklahoma City…
