Former #1 overall pick in the 2006 draft Andrea Bargnani’s NBA shelf life has effectively expired. He was bought out by the Nets in February and has not been offered a deal by another NBA team since. Sensing he can no longer draw interest in the league, Bargnani has agreed to play for Saski Baskonia in Spain. Andrea is still only 30 years old.
The native of Italy played 10 years in the NBA for the Toronto Raptors, New York Knicks and Nets. He averaged 14.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 550 career games, 433 of them with Toronto.
