The only person affiliated with the Cleveland Cavs that was probably scratching his head after game 3 had to be Kevin Love. I mean, how could he not be? Touted as one of the big 3, the Cavs easily cruised by the Warriors by 30 points in game 3, all while Love was inactive while recovering from a concussion.
Sure, he’s happy for his team and obviously did not want them to lose. But their offense was firing especially well with him in street clothes.
Moreover, if you’re Tyronn Lue, what do you do with Kevin Love. He’ll almost certainly be cleared for action for Friday’s game 4. Do you reinsert him as usual, or do you roll with Richard Jefferson some more? Lue knows the answer, but he’s not going to tell you.
