By know we all know that the wind has been taken out of the Clippers sails in the past 48 hours. After an unexpected opportunity knocked on their doorstep in the form of a Steph Curry injury, misfortune struck as their two biggest stars, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, were sidelined for the rest of the postseason after suffering injuries in Game 4.
There is no doubt this particularly aggressive stroke of bad luck has had an effect on an already downtrodden Clippers franchise ripe with fandom P.T.S.D. and is affecting their excitement levels for a pivotal Game 5 in their first round series with the Blazers Wednesday night.
If you need any proof just see how cheap tickets for this game have gotten on the re-sale market:
With Chris Paul & Blake Griffin out, you can get a ticket to tonight's Clippers-Blazers game in LA on the resale market for as low as $17.

Here is the average ticket price as of a couple days ago for 1st round NBA Playoff tickets according to TicketIQ.com:
Although the average price for a ticket is still much higher than $17 it just shows how much the fan support and enthusiasm about this Clippers team have fallen off a cliff since losing Paul and Griffin.
One can only hope the Clippers who will be in uniform have a little more faith.
