Nuggets Hand Warriors 3rd Loss of Season Wednesday Night

Warriors Lose

The Golden State Warriors experienced an unfamiliar feeling Wednesday night in Denver: losing. The Dubs suffered only their 3rd loss in the 2015-16 season with a 112-110 loss to the Nuggets in Denver.

Now the Warriors are a measly 36-3 on the season, what a joke (sarcasm). It is clear the Warriors aren’t quite the same team on either side of the ball without their Swiss Army Knif, do-everything handyman Draymond Green who missed his first game of the season last night.

Curry led them with 38 points, including 20 points in the 4th quarter to lead the Warriors back from a 10 point deficit heading into the final period, but Curry’s turnover with 37 seconds left in which Danilo Gallianri stole the bal after Curry appeared to lose it helped seal the game.

“It was a great opportunity to try to tie the game or take the lead,” Curry said in the postgame interview. “Got stuck between looking for the open man and handling the ball, and one little mishandle and Gallinari got it.”

Gallinari led the Nuggets with 28 points in the big upset victory but was aided by the addition of 21 points from Will Barton, 18 and 11 from Darrell Arthur and 19 points and seven assists from Gary Harris.

The Warriors will look for redemption when they host the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.
