The Knicks are certainly a team on the rise, all is not necessarily well in New York. They are 20-21 in the East and will need to stay above water in order to make the playoffs in a much-improved East. If they don’t, will Derek Fisher be shown the door?
Some media reports indicate that this may be a possibility, but this would be a huge stain on Phil Jackson’s resume. He hired fisher seemingly minutes after he retired, so he knew he didn’t know how to coach. To get rid of him two years in would be an admission of wrongdoing.
I’m going to wave a yellow flag on Derek Fisher, as well.
Just hearing some rumbling that there isn’t a lot of – it’s not all rainbows and lollipops there. Just a yellow flag, not a red flag
