A little over 11 years after LeBron James wore a very Timberland boot-esque sneaker during All Star Weekend. Now Nike is revisiting that colorway for the EXT version his current shoe; the LeBron 12.
Instead of using the standard Nike LeBron 12, the EXT edition (constructed more for casual wear than on-court performance) was used for the ‘Wheat’ colorway. One understated detail is the date (February 13th, 2004) on the heeltab which represents the date of the All Star Game that LeBron James first wore an all-wheat version of his shoe (the Air Zoom Generation; his first signature sneaker).
The ‘Wheat’ Nike LeBron 12 EXT releases on Saturday, April 4th for $250.
