It was thrilling Monday night for Nets fans, as their team was able to garner a 102-100 victory over the visiting Clippers to give them their nineteenth win of the season. Brook Lopez led the way with a game-high of 24 points and teammate Joe Johnson pitched in 22 points. On the other side, it was the man in the middle—DeAndre Jordan who paved the way for the Clippers with 22 points, while grabbing a game-high of 20 massive rebounds, and Chris Paul rounded things out with 20 points and 8 dimes.
But despite a solid performance from the Clippers, the Nets were able to come away with the victory thanks to Jarrett Jack, who came up huge in the final seconds when he nailed the game-winning jumper with 1.3 seconds remaining.
Jack had an awful night though as he went 3-of-11 from the field to give him a total of just 6 points, but his last bucket completely overshadowed his night. You know what they say, “ It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish”.
