It is widely publicized that Kevin Durant had ambitions to be a weatherman when he was younger if basketball didn’t become a focus. Inspired by that idea is the ‘Weatherman’ colorway of the Nike KD7.
Featuring doppler radar graphics on the Hyperposite heel, the ‘Weatherman’ KD7 is colored mostly green to represent the chromakey that newscasters stand in front of when giving the weather. There has been this themed colorway in the Kevin Durant signature line since 2011 when the ‘Weatherman’ KD4 originally came out.
The ‘Weatherman’ Nike KD 7 releases on Thursday, March 5th for $150.
