As reported back in October, Michael Beasley left the NBA for China and the Chinese Basketball Association in an attempt to rejuvenate his career. Following in the footsteps of another troubled NBA star, Stephon Marbury, the CBA doesn’t look like a terrible place to land, as they pay well, and have tremendous community support if successful.
Well it looks like Beasley is successful. Playing for Yao Ming’s Shanghai Sharks, not only did Beasley make the CBA’s 2015 All-Star Game, but he scored 59 points and was awarded MVP!…..

Given that Beasley is only 25 years old, unlike Marbury, we may once again see Beasley in the NBA if he keeps up this pace of play in the CBA. I’m sure NBA scouts are taking notice.
