Center Nikola Vucevic, Magic Agree To $54M Extension

magicmagicThe Orlando Magic and their center Nikola Vucevic have reached a four-year, $54 million dollar extension, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Vucevic, 23, certainly has a lot of potential yet to be maximized within him and the Magic want to assure of his services for the next few years while he grows and develops to (hopefully) become one of the best big men in the league in the future.

Last season, he averaged impressive numbers of 14.2 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. He was consistently a bright spot for the Magic despite dealing with another disappointing season ever since Dwight Howard left for the Lakers in 2012.

Now with additions highly-regarded rookies, Elfrid Payton and Aaron Gordon—the team has taken a good first step towards their rebuilding process and for sure, it’s only going to be a matter of time till we them back as one of the beasts in the east.

The future is definitely looking bright over in Orlando and a lot of their fans have a lot of reasons to be excited about for the upcoming season. Their team may not make the playoffs though but it’ll be fun watching them every game.
