Highly-touted point guard Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics recently had an accident fell down at his own home which led to a surgery for his broken finger, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Most of us expected the Celtics to be better than last season wherein they finished only with 25 wins all throughout. But now, it looks like things may stay the same for the upcoming season due to this unfortunate injury of their all-star point guard.
Rajon Rondo is expected to miss six weeks with a broken hand, league source tells Yahoo Sports. @BaxterHolmes first reported break/surgery.

Rondo, 28, is a quite a versatile guard who manages put up the points, dish out dimes, and grab rebounds consistently—which is why he already has 18 recorded triple-doubles in his career. And despite playing just 30 games last season, he averaged 11.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game.
On the bright side, we’ll probably be seeing veteran guard Avery Bradley and of course rookie Marcus Smart to fill in the void for the time being. Both these young players are oozing with potential and it’ll be exciting in how they’ll grow every game.
Celtics fans will still have something to look forward to this season.
