The Miami Heat overtime loss to the Bulls in Chicago on Sunday afternoon wasn’t all bad for LeBron James. With all the extra eyeballs a nationally-televised game brings, James used this opportunity to debut the upcoming Nike LeBron 11 Elite.
Just at this first glance, this updated Nike LeBron 11 Elite looks to feature an updated toe shape, new heel counter placement to limit foot rolling while inside the shoe, and an enitrely new outsole thread pattern with an enlarged imprint of James’ signature
The problems James has had with the Nike LeBron 11 since the beginning of the season have been well documented, so maybe rectifying those problems in November was a case of “too little, too late” with the debut of the Elite version of the LeBron 11.
It was anticipated that Nike would continue their trend in 2014 of producing updated versions of their signature basketball sneakers for their namesake players to wear during the NBA Playoffs, I just didn’t expect to see LeBron James wear the LeBron 11 Elite so fast.
