While it might seem like a no-brainer that LeBron James wore Nike LeBron sneakers, this is actually the first time that James wore the new LeBron model, the Nike LeBron 11, for a whole game this NBA season.
The anticipation behind the latest LeBron signature sneaker with Nike was huge leading up to this season and was at its peak when he wore a Player Exclusive to start the first Miami Heat game of the season which was also when the returning team members got their championship ring. James however changed out of the LeBron 11 PE for the second half of that game for a Nike LeBron X Elite PE from last season.
Since the start of LeBron’s NBA career,he’s had a Nike endorsement starting with his first shoe finished while he was in high school before moving into a larger capacity including more affordable takedown (or team) sneakers, non-performance lifestyle sneakers, Asia-exclusive basketball sneakers built specifically for outdoor play, and apparel. There have been changes made several times to the game shoe LeBron James would wear like a complete redesign of the Zoom LeBron VI (6) and THREE different versions of the LeBron 8 which all hit retail shelves.
While nothing has been confirmed, it is rumored that there is a problems with the insoles causing pinching in LeBron’s feet which is why he as spent most of the season in the Nike LeBron X Elite; playoff sneaker for James from last season.
