When someone says that a play was ‘like salt in the wounds’, they are basically talking about this play from last night, when Heat’s Mario Chalmers got crafty with Pacers big man Roy Hibbert. The Heat dominated the Pacers from start to finish. And on this possession, Chalmers made a ‘heady’ play if you ask me. (see what I did there?).
Chalmers had nowhere to go and was at risk of losing the possession out of bounds. Unfortunately for Hibbert he was the only Pacers player within reach and just so happen to be presenting head first for Chalmers. Hey Hibbert! Heads up. (Ha. There’s one more).
