Because of the deep Native American affiliation that the state Oklahoma has, the signature sneaker of Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Thunder was chosen once again to take part in the Nike N7 program.
The said purpose of the Nike N7 program is to bring the benefits that American sports have to the Aboriginal & Native American communities in this country. On the ‘N7’ KD V, the colorway is more than just a nice-looking color blocking. The turquoise is used to symbolize friendship while the yellow plays into one of the four colors on the Native American medicine wheel.
On April 12th, Nike N7 will hold a youth workout for local Oklahoma Indian Clinic & Chickasaw Nation communities.
This is the second Kevin Durant signature that was used as apart of the Nike N7 program. Last year, the Zoom KD IV had two different N7 colorways.
The ‘N7’ Nike KD V will not be as hard to get your hands on as the pairs from last year were since these will release at select Foot Locker locations along with other sneaker stores with premium Nike Basketball accounts.
