With the NBA Playoffs underway, most players welcome anything to give them an edge to avoid starting their summer vacation without a championship ring. Jordan Brand updated Chris Paul’s current signature sneaker, called it the Artisan Edition, which brought about the Jordan CP3.VI AE.
Updating the Jordan CP3.VI which Chris Paul wore throughout the regular season, the Artisan Edition features additions are seen in the upper thru the lighter mesh panel that not only increases ventilation, but makes the Dynamic Fit straps which holds the sneaker down onto your foot. One thing that carried over from the original Air Jordan series from when MJ was playing is whenever he and the Chicago Bulls began their post season run, Nike would have a mostly-black version of the current Air Jordan. All three pairs of the Jordan CP3. VI AE are made with different materials on the toebox.
In 2012, the Jordan CP3.VI topped our list of the 12 best basketball sneakers of the year, so the Jordan CP3.VI AE has big shoes to fill as far as performance expectations go but if Chris Paul finds these adequate there is no reason for you not to.
