Exclusive sneakers have become something of a bragging right with NBA players. Outlets like Instagram & Twitter provide these athletes with a more efficient way of showing them off to the world besides on the hardwood, especially if they aren’t getting as much game time as other team members.
Through an Instagram picture posted on his Twitter page, David Lee shows off some Player Exclusive pairs of the new Nike Air Max Hyperposite. Both pairs are done in Golden State Warriors team colors with the yellow/black-blue pair likely used for away games and the mostly white pair reserved to be used on the home court. What makes these pairs special to Lee are is the “DLEE” stitched onto the tongue of each sneaker.
