From our first look of the Zoom Kobe VII, the biggest change is the ankle sleeve that appears to be made of a neoprene; a feature very similar to that of Under Armour’s Micro G Juke. A stitched repeating square pattern and Kobe’s most popular logo, the Shozoku, adorn the new Huarache-like bootie system. The shark inspiration is still seen in the aggressive lines of this sneaker with a Flywire upper with barrel laces still finish off the latest installment in Kobe Bryant’s signature series with the Swoosh.
The sole’s thread has been slightly changed now sporting a different thread pattern and Shozoku branding closer to the heel not covering the exposed carbon fiber. The edges are also appear to be more rounded than the original samples depicted back in June.
Let us know if you prefer the updated version of these over the original samples.
