Six Intriguing All-Star Lineup Possibilities

Considering this weekend’s All-Star Game will feature some of the greatest basketball players on the planet, the possibilities of intriguing lineups are endless. This is the one time during the basketball season when the biggest names in basketball can be seen playing on the same team. Here are five possible lineups (and one starting lineup) that will leave basketball fans wanting more.

Kevin Love, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant and Manu Ginobili: This lineup features the ultimate blend of youth, experience and exciting play potential. If this lineup makes its way to the court anytime on Sunday, the highlight reels will be set on fire.

Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and LeBron James: Seeing LeBron play with the Celtic quartet would be priceless. The boys from Boston have owned LeBron recently. Let’s hope that Doc Rivers is creative enough to think of this.

Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant and Deron Williams: With Kobe, Dirk and Duncan, you have three veteran players who have helped shape the league into what it is today. In D-Will and Durant, you have two talented players who are shaping the league for the future. It is a great blend of old school and new school.

LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard, Amar’e Stoudemire and Kevin Garnett: Talk about the ultimate big lineup. Although this one is probably a long shot, wouldn’t it be great to see LeBron run the point with all of these talented big men?

Blake Griffin, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant: It would be interesting to see Kobe out on the court with all of these young superstars. Not to mention, the big play potential between Westbrook and Griffin is limitless.

Derrick Rose, Amar’e Stoudemire, Dwight Howard, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade: The Eastern Conference starting lineup is the best starting five the All-Star Game has seen in quite awhile. What makes this one better than the other lineups listed is fans are guaranteed to see this one. Expect some jaw dropping plays from this starting five.
