In only his second NBA season, we’ve learned a couple things about Kyrie Irving: he’s arguably one of the best PGs in the game, and he’s no stranger to injuries. Despite the latter, he has still managed to put together a very solid sophomore campaign.
But hopefully, this hyper-extended knee is just a minor, isolated setback.
Kyrie Irving has a hyperextended right knee and won’t play tonight when the Cavaliers face the Chicago Bulls. He is listed as day to day moving forward and is questionable for tomorrow’s home game against the Toronto Raptors.
Irving banged knees with teammates in practice before departing on this three-game road trip.
