DeMarcus Cousins has been a constant headache for the Sacramento Kings off the court since he was drafted. But that said, on the court you can’t argue with the big man’s current dominance, and potential. Sky is the limit for Cousins who certainly has the skills necessary to be a perennial all-star in this league.
The Boston Celtics are willing to bet the farm on his potential, and on the fact that he can mature off the court and focus his attention on winning, and being a team player. Rumors circulating quite rapidly have the Celtics in discussion with the Kings to bring DeMarcus cousins to Boston:
The Kings’ center, who has been connected to the Celtics in trade rumors for more than a month, could be on his way to Boston by Monday morning, according to a report. A source told NBAonNBC.com that Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge was working to complete a deal to bring Cousins to the Celtics by the end of Sunday night.
Jeff Green, Jason Terry, Jared Sullinger and Courtney Lee are among the players and cash Boston seems willing to part with in order to land Cousins. According to multiple reports however the deal hasn’t already been completed because the Kings also want to get their hands on Avery Bradley:
NOT here to stir the pot. Just passing along rumblings from reputable sources. Bradley a sticking point. TBD.

Stay tuned for more details, but if you’re Celtics fans, you’re excited to consider the pairing of Rondo and Cousins for the future.
