We’ve often heard big NBA stars like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant talk about getting ‘in a zone’ shooting the ball, where the rim looks twice as big and no matter what they put up the ball seems to get favorable rolls. The Warriors’ Klay Thompson last night had one of those performances in the 3rd quarter.
In fact it was the best shooting quarter in NBA history. He scored 37 points in the quarter for the record, and was an efficient 9 for 9 from three point range and 13 for 13 from the field. It was certainly magical, and almost unworldly. Watch his performance for yourself….
