TNT Analyst and one of the greatest NBA Centers of all-time, Shaquille O’Neal, met this week with Sacramento King’s management team about some form of partnership where he will help to tutor Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins.
Cousins is one of the premiere big men in the NBA, but is often viewed as raw talent with issues on and off the court dealing with authority. Maybe under the wing of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, Cousins can get focused and lead the Kings to new heights.

If there is one guy that could get the attention of DeMarcus Cousins, its got to be Shaquille O’Neal. He’s got more post moves than people give him credit for, but the biggest value he can provide to Cousins is to teach him how to harness and utilize his size and strength in the low post ‘power game’.
The NBA literally re-wrote the rules of the game to try and figure out how to deal with Shaq’s bump, bump, bang post game. If he can pass on some of the strategy on doing so without picking up offensive fouls, Cousins will be scary good.
Let’s just hope the Kings organization has forgotten about Shaq calling them the ‘Sacramento Queens’ during his playing days with the Lakers.
