It has been a long road back to the NBA for MarShon Brooks.
After being selected by the Boston Celtics with the 25th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft and playing five NBA seasons for the Celtics, Nets, Warriors and Lakers with minor roles, Brooks found himself out of the NBA in 2014.
Brooks played in the Euroleague, the G-League and China, where he averaged 36.6 points per game in the 2017-18 season, before finally getting his first NBA opportunity in four years with the Memphis Grizzlies on a 10-day contract.
How has he responded? In 3 games he has averaged 23.2 points per game, 3.7 assists and 2.0 rebounds and shot 57% from the field and 64% from three point range.
The Grizzlies have rewarded him with a two-year guaranteed contract.
Sources: Grizzlies guard MarShon Brooks has agreed to a guaranteed two-year deal with Memphis. Brooks has scored 70 points over three games in his first 10-day contract.

Pretty cool comeback story as few players make it back to the NBA after four years, and at 29 Brooks is in his prime and could play a role for the Grizzlies as they rebuild or retool the next couple of seasons.
