It’s official, the Vegas Summer League is king for the NBA.
According to an AP report, starting in 2018, all 30 NBA teams will be participating in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League.
For the first time ever, all 30 teams will compete in the MGM Resorts @NBASummerLeague 2018 in Las Vegas!
Taking place from July 6-17, #NBASummer League action will expand to 82 games.

As was reported a few months back, the Orlando Summer League ceased operations and the six teams that participated solely in the Orlando Summer League: New York, Detroit, Indiana, Charlotte, Orlando and Oklahoma City, are now joining the Vegas league.
All 30 teams will play five games in pool play over the 12 days, and can play up to 8 games with how the final tournament fares at the end.
The newly revived Utah Summer League is still in operation and will have the same four teams: Utah. San Antonio, Philadelphia and Boston.
Having all 30 teams in the Vegas Summer League is a good move for the NBA as the event has become bigger and has contributed to the NBA dominating the sports world for the month of May and June and now through July with free agency as well.
I can’t wait to attend again this year.
