Even though the Spurs are still doing Spursian things, sporting a 31-9 record through 40 games and are well on their way to proving once again that the only constants in life are death, taxes and the San Antonio Spurs winning 50 games, it still feels bizarre not seeing No. 21 patrolling the middle of the paint.
Relying on Duncan as the mainstay and leader of a contending Spurs team and watching him make 17-foot bank shots and running one-handed shot put shots was as comforting as waking up on a Saturday morning and eating your favorite sugary cereal (Cocoa Pebbles) and watching cartoons or in my case basketball.
Well for those Spurs, (unfortunately only those in the San Antonio and surrounding area) will be able for a short time to have the greatness of Tim Duncan and their comforting sugary cereal together in one bowl!
For a limited time, the popular Texas Grocer H-E-B is selling a “Slam Duncan O’s” cereal for consumers to purchase. For anyone living in the area or that has had NBA League Pass in recent years, the Spurs have had a great partnership with the grocer and have been making hilarious local commercials with the company for years.

This is great idea and a highly marketable idea that I would like to see emulated more often. Who wouldn’t buy some “Mamba Bites” or “Sheed Puffs”, I think this is something the world needs more of.
