Today’s is the most special day of the year (big assumption) for one of the newest members of the Orlando Magic, Bismack Biyombo, it is his birthday. The five-year veteran turns 24 today, but some of his former Raptor teammates believe the product from the Republic of the Congo may be a little older than 24, as they joked in wishing Biyombo a happy birthday.
Happy 48th bday @bismackbiyombo ?? https://t.co/AZOkZcUm11

DeRozan wasn’t quite as harsh, but still found humor in joking about Biyombo’s age.
Happy birthday to my old head @bismackbiyombo. Enjoy the big three Oh bro.

These jokes may have some inside meaning that we are not aware of, but I think it is pretty safe to assume that they are a result of Biyombo’s coming from Africa, where broth records haven’t always proven to be the most accurate and fellow African-born NBA players Serge Ibaka and most recently Thon Maker, have had their age questioned. I mean Biyombo’s hairline does seem to be receding a little…
Either way this was just harmless and humorous jabbing of the birthday boy (or middle-aged man) by some of his former teammates, his response to Kyle Lowry and his reference to him as a midget provided some humor as well.
@Klow7 Impressive , You little midget! how did you pass all this numbers to get to 48 ?? thanks brother. ? https://t.co/w8H8BqBESv

Whether he is 24 or 48, Biyombo made a good career move by joining the Orlando Magic as he received a hefty raise and is in a desirable retirement community as he enters that phase of his life, at least in Kyle Lowry’s eyes.
