Kyle Lowry has struggled mightily this postseason, there is no way to sugarcoat it.
He went 3-for-13 last night in the Raptors 102-96 Game 1 loss to the Miami Heat at home, even though he hit this miracle shot to send the game to overtime…

He has shot 34-for-111 this postseason from the field, 30.6%, and is shooting a horrific 16% from three-point range, only hitting eight of 50 attempts through eight games.
Overall his scoring is down from 21.2 points per game in the regular season to 13 points per game in the postseason. His player efficiency rating has gone from 22.1 in the regular season to 10.5 in the playoffs.
Because of this Kyle Lowry is clearly trying to rediscover his game before it is too late, here he is shooting by himself in the Air Canada Center at 1 am Wednesday morning after the Raptors loss.

He refuses to admit that the elbow injury that has been bothering him for much of the season and was apparently re-aggravated in their January game against the Orlando Magic in London has affected him, even though his shooting has continued to crater over the past few months.
If the Raptors want any chance to respond to their record 5th straight Game 1 loss at home and recover to win the series and make their first ever eastern conference finals, they will need their back court of Lowry and DeRozan to find their mojo again and outplay the Miami Heat back court of Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic.
You have to love Lowry’s desire and commitment to getting his rhythm back as a player and I have a feeling this tough kid from Philly will figure it out going into Game 2.
