The inevitable “Is this the end of the road?” questions were lobbied at Dirk Nowitzki after the Mavericks were eliminated from the postseason in Oklahoma City last night, and Dirk took no time to dispel any notion that may have seen the last of his beautiful blonde locks and one-legged fadeaways on the NBA hardwood.

Dirk averaged 18.3 points and 6.5 rebounds this season and averaged over 20 points per game in five playoff games.
He also said he may play on the international scene once more if Germany happens to host an Olympic qualifying tournament this summer.

Dirk will turn 38 in June and has averaged 22 points and 8 rebounds in 18 NBA seasons. He is currently the 6th leading scorer in NBA history with 29,491 points.
