Draymond Green Makes History In The Big Apple

Draymond Green

The year of the Draymond continues in the NBA as Green posted his highly impressive ninth triple-double of the season Sunday in New York in the team’s 48th game of the season. His ability to fill up a stat sheet and his incredible efficiency is reaching historic levels.

Green became the first player in 48 years to record a triple double in a game without missing a shot attempt and only the second player in NBA history to accomplish the feat with a minimum of five shot attempts. He has now joined the god of filling up the stat sheet himself, Wilt Chamberlain.

Draymond celebrated his first game after hearing that he will be making his first all-star appearance on the biggest stage in the NBA at the garden by scoring 20 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists while shooting 9-for-9 from the field, including 2-for-2 from the three point line in the Warriors 116-95 victory.

The Warriors continue to stake their claim as maybe the greatest NBA team we have ever seen and Draymond Green is quickly building his resume as one of the biggest draft steals of all-time, a second round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.
