For the latest Reebok Classics release, a lot of Shawn Kemp’s persona was called upon for this new Kamikaze II colorway.
When it comes to the ‘Calm Before The Store’ Reebok Kamikaze 2, the entire sneaker’s backstory is based off of Shawn Kemp. Featuring a falling rain design (first debuted in 2013) that plays off of his “The Rainman” nickname, even the shoe’s official nickname pays homage to the former Seattle Supersonics All-Star. The blue color is said to be a nod to Lake Washington.
All navy with white accents is a good look for this iconic Reebok basketball signature. The white rope laces are a nice touch to set off this subtle-but-fly sneaker.
