Amar’e Stoudemire has been known for his high flying, thunderous dunking act for some time. He was the ‘Human Highlight Reel’ somewhere after Dominique Wilkins, and before Blake Griffin. But over his last few years in New York, constantly trying to reignite his career following multiple knee injuries, Stoudemire has been somewhat of a forgotten man.
In his debut with the Dallas Mavericks, Amar’e Stoudemire wanted to send a message. It was received in the form of 14 points in only 11 minutes of playing time. Two of the points came on this vicious facial dunk on the Hornets Jason Maxiell. I didn’t think it was possible, but I think the West just got tighter.
