It has been rumored that the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves were engaged in talks to bring the Big Ticket back to Minny to close out his career. One problem: Garnett has a no-trade clause, so he would have to agree to a trade.
Per David Aldridge on Twitter, that’s exactly what has happened. This is a great way for KG to end his career. He has stated previously that he’d like to eventually own the team, so it’s great fit on many fronts.
Source: Kevin Garnett agrees to trade, will go home to Minnesota for Thaddeus Young.
