A lot of rumors have been swirling around regarding seven-time all-star Tracy McGrady that he’s planning on making an NBA comeback after officially announcing his retirement from basketball just last year (2013). I’m sure many would have loved—especially his millions of fans around the world—to see him back on the floor.
However, it looks like McGrady was just reminiscing about the past and really has no intentions on making an NBA comeback, which he clearly stated, via his Facebook account..
I know you all may have read the Bleacher Report article but I have no plans on coming back to the NBA. I’m a happily retired man.
Always appreciate the love you all give but my playing days are no more. Onto other ventures.
Well folks, it looks like all those rumors were simply that, rumors. McGrady has been committed to moving on from the game we all love. But for certain, his legacy in the league will always be remembered and the entire basketball world will forever be grateful for all the memorable moments and spectacular scoring performances throughout his decorated career.
