NBA games throughout Christmas Day has become just as much of a fixture as football on Thanksgiving.
Throughout the last few years, Christmas-themed sneakers have become something many look forward to with similar vigor as the games themselves. adidas looks to end one of their strongest footwear years with their upcoming ‘Bad Dreams’ collection.
Said to be named the ‘Bad Dreams’ collection as to be symbolic of “giving opponents nightmares”, adidas took John Wall’s first adidas sneaker (the J Wall 1) and Derrick Rose’s 5th flagship (technically 9th signature) shoe, the Crazy 2 (formerly known as the Kobe 2; Kobe Bryant’s shoe from 1997), and the Crazylight BOOST. All four sneakers feature glow-in-the-dark panels.
On December 12th, the entire adidas ‘Bad Dreams’ pack releases featuring the D Rose 5 BOOST ($140), J Wall 1 ($115), Crazylight BOOST ($115), and Crazy 2 ($125).
