After losing their first five games of the season, many analysts debated when the Los Angeles Lakers would get that first win—and to our surprise, especially to Charles Barkley, the purple and gold finally grabbed a win against the Charlotte Hornets with a final score of 107-92.
Kobe Bryant and Jeremy Lin led the scoring with 21 points a piece, as both of them rallied the Lakers back in the second half and eventually wore down the Hornets. Almost everyone on the team contributed in the second half until the sound of the final buzzer.
And now, this leaves the Sixers as the only winless team in the league. Maybe Barkley should starve himself again till they get their first win, given the Sixers are his former team.
