The 6-foot7 guard/forward played his first four years with the Sixers and averaged 11.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists while playing at least 30 minutes per game. Many thought he would serve as a vital piece in the future for the team, but then was traded to the Indiana Pacers last February, together with Lavoy Allen. Unfortunately, he was unable to fully show his capabilities in Indiana due to limited playing time.
Now as the newest Celtic—Turner will have a full season to turn things around for his career and hopefully establish himself in Boston eventually.A lot of talent can still be developed further in his game and is certainly a good step as the franchise continues their rebuilding process.
