The Milwaukee Bucks have a rich NBA tradition, dating back to the days of Lew Alcindor but they franchise has been down for a while now. They’ve made the playoffs here and there recently, but nothing to get too excited about. Well maybe this news will jumpstart the team.
According to ESPN, the Bucks have been sold for $550 million by longtime owner Herb Kohl to two hedge-fund billionaires. Kohl has been looking to sell the team for quite a while, but now finally has found a buyer. The deal is contingent upon the new owners keeping the team in Milwaukee. Not sure how you enforce that last part, but let’s hope that’s the case.
