Shaquille O’Neal may have taken Shaq Fu a bit too far. The big fella is in a bit of hot water after a TNT co-worker is alleging that he was attached by Shaq, according to WSBTV. We don’t want to jump to conclusions because we all know how Shaq likes to joke around, so we’re sure of the intent.
But what we do know is that this co-worker is saying he sustained permanent injuries.
“(The co-worker) alleged Shaquille O’Neal tackled him to the ground causing injury to his back while they were at work at Turner Studios,” said Sgt. Greg Lyon with the Atlanta Police Department.
Robert Williams went to the Atlanta Police Department and said that Shaq tackle-punched him, knocking him down and falling on top of him.
“I don’t know the extent of his injury, but I have heard that [it was serious] as well, that his injuries were severe to his back,” Lyon said.
It’s also worth noting that this incident took place in May of 2013, so the timing of this being made public is very interesting. It will be interesting to see if Shaq resumes his normal TNT spot during the investigation.
