Kobe Says Rehab is “Progressing Slowly”

img24200572When Kobe Bryant hurt his knee after playing his sixth game this season, we were all led to believe that he’d be back right around the all-star break. Well, that has come and gone and still no sign of Kobe. With the season ending next month and the Lakers going no where fast, you have to wonder if he’ll be back this season at all.

According to Kobe himself, rehab is “progressing slowly” as his knee is still bothersome.

“It’s progressing slowly. It really tests my patience,” Bryant said in a recent interview with Jacques Slade from Kustoo.com that mostly centered on his work with Nike. ”There’s only so much I can do. I find myself relegated to a bike. The first few weeks, it’s cool. I’m getting a good workout in. Third or fourth, I’m thinking I need to do something else. I want to play. I want to run. I want to do something different. But you got to do what you got to do.”
