Watch: HS Star Luke Kennard Drops 53 Pts In Front Of UNC Coach Roy Williams

One of the hottest high school prospects in the country right now is sharpshooting junior guard Luke Kennard.

The 6’5 and 1805lb native of Franklin, Ohio is a Top 25 ranked player in the 2015 Class with numerous high major offers from elite schools like Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, and of course Ohio State.

Needles to say, remember his name as he is poised to be one of the future stars on the collegiate level, sure to make an immediate impact following his senior season.

Kennard is known not only as one of the nation’s best amateur shooters but scorers as well, as he recently set a Franklin HS scoring mark, dropping 51 points in a single game last month.

It appears as if that was only a warm-up of what he is capable of doing and his immense potential going forward as the junior guard broke his own school record, going for 53 points along with 16 rebounds against visiting school Bellbrook.

Not bad for a player who admitted he wasn’t 100% coming into the game as he missed his team’s last game, not playing in the Beach Ball Classic HS Tourney in South Carolina.

The 2 sport star also excels on the gridiron and is a shoe-in to be a future McDonald’s All American in the future.  It’s perceived that Michigan is the early leader since he’s been spotted wearing Wolverine gear but it’s rumored that his favorite all time player is Tayshaun Prince, putting Kentucky clearly in the mix.

One thing Kennard has going for himself is good timing, as University of North Carolina head coach Roy Williams was sitting courtside for the record breaking scoring event, meaning another offer from the Tarheels is probably already in the works…
